At this time of year we strongly recommend using the park and ride, especially for York as the city is busy due to its Christmas market and the historic Shambles full of wizardry for some extra Christmas magic. At the end of a busy day seeing the sites and shopping you can enjoy the perfect escape of Allerton Park in it’s woodland setting, just perfect for enjoying a rest.
Cawood is near Selby so not too far from the M62 and at the South side of the city and again not too far from the park ride into York. Also at Cawood if you still want to be kept busy there is the weekend entertainment along with our Mrs B’s Restaurant or our indoor pool.
Whether it is shopping, enjoying the wide range of places to eat, or a boat trip and walking the walls, you will be assured of a warm welcome at Allerton Park and Cawood Park.
